# KeptRing > KeptRing is a done-for-you AI phone answering service for US home-service and construction contractors (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, water damage restoration, garage door, foundation repair, tree service, remodeling, and more), built for shops that buy Google Local Services Ads. It answers overflow and after-hours calls, says up front that it is an automated assistant and that the call may be recorded, captures job details, and emails the contractor a lead summary after each call. Price: $249 per month per business phone line after a free 14-day pilot; month-to-month, cancel anytime. The first 10 paying clients get a founding-customer rate of $197 per month, locked in for as long as they stay subscribed. Based in Indiana, USA. Not affiliated with Google. Key facts: - Why it matters: per Google Local Services Help ("How leads work"), a missed call during business hours is a valid lead when the caller stays on the line more than 20 seconds, and a business-hours voicemail or greeting is treated as a connected call. Search Engine Land reported this took effect Oct. 1, 2026. - KeptRing does NOT lower Google's lead charges. Answered calls are judged under Google's normal rules. KeptRing makes sure calls the contractor is already paying for get answered. - Lead summaries are delivered by email today, and the contractor's office follows up with callers. Texting is NOT live yet. After US carrier (A2P 10DLC) registration is approved, contractors can opt in to text lead alerts, and a caller gets a text confirmation only if they clearly say yes when asked during the call. KeptRing never texts callers automatically, including callers who hang up. - Safety: for gas, CO, fire, or injury calls it tells callers to get to safety and call 911 or the gas utility, and gives no repair instructions. KeptRing is not an emergency service and does not replace 911 or a contractor's own emergency line. - KeptRing answers inbound calls only. It makes no outbound AI calls, never claims to be human, never quotes prices, and never logs into the contractor's Google account. - Live demo line: (317) 558-7718 (answers as "Summit Heating & Plumbing," a fictional company). - Contact: tom@keptring.com - Trades: HVAC, plumbing, and electrical first; also roofing, water damage restoration, garage door, foundation repair, tree service, locksmith, pest control, remodeling, windows, and appliance repair (see Industry pages). Not offered for legal, health care, or financial businesses. - KeptRing is a new business with no published customer results yet. ## Pages - [Home](https://keptring.com/): what KeptRing does and why the Oct. 2026 LSA change matters - [How it works](https://keptring.com/how-it-works/): setup steps, what callers hear, sample lead summary - [Pricing](https://keptring.com/pricing/): $249/month per line after a free 14-day pilot; the first 10 paying clients lock in a $197/month founding-customer rate - [FAQ](https://keptring.com/faq/): AI disclosure, recording, Google charges, disputes, setup time, canceling - [Google LSA missed-call charges explained](https://keptring.com/blog/google-lsa-missed-call-billing-2026/): Google's exact wording, exceptions, and sources - [Markets](https://keptring.com/markets/): KeptRing serves contractors in every US state; local pages cover lead costs, seasonal peaks, and gas-emergency contacts for 12 metros ## Market pages - [Phoenix](https://keptring.com/markets/phoenix/): Phoenix averages 111 days a year at 100°F or hotter, and Arizona ranks among the priciest states for Google LSA leads.
