Window repair & replacement · Google LSA category: Window repair services

Window companies: a broken pane today, a whole-house replacement tomorrow

In short: Window calls come in two kinds: urgent broken glass after a break-in or storm, and high-value replacement shoppers comparing bids. KeptRing answers both when your installers are on ladders, sorts them out, and emails you the lead.

Lead cost and job size

In 99 Calls' managed campaigns, window repair leads on Local Services Ads averaged $59.99 in April–June 2026, up from $46.83 a year earlier (99 Calls; agency data, not a Google price). On job size, HomeGuide lists window repairs at $175 to $600, replacement at $450 to $1,500 per window, and $4,500 to $22,500 for 10 to 15 windows (repair, replacement).

Google's "How leads work" page says a valid lead can be generated when "you missed a phone call during your business hours and the customer stays on the line for more than 20 seconds," and that a business-hours call answered by voicemail or a greeting "is treated as a connected call." The page applies to Local Services Ads generally and lists no exception for this category.

Two very different callers

"My window is broken"

Break-in, a stray baseball, or storm debris. The house isn't secure or weathertight, and the caller wants it boarded or glazed today. The assistant tells them to keep people and pets away from broken glass, and to call 911 if there's been a break-in and they don't feel safe. The lead is marked urgent.

"We're thinking about new windows"

Drafty, foggy, or original windows, and a homeowner collecting quotes. Not urgent, but potentially your biggest sale of the month. The assistant takes the count, the type, and a time for an in-home estimate.

Questions KeptRing asks window callers

  1. Repair or replacement?

Plus whether there's broken glass right now.

  2. Is the home secure and weathertight?

If not, the lead is marked urgent. It doesn't give repair instructions.

  3. How many windows or doors, and what kind?

Double-hung, sliders, casement, a patio door, a skylight, or storefront glass. Approximate is fine.

  4. What's wrong with them?

Fogging between the panes, drafts, a window that won't open or lock, rot, or a cracked pane.

  5. Home or business, own or rent, HOA?

It records the answers and gives no advice about HOA rules or permits.

  6. Address, callback number, and a good time for a measure or estimate

It reads the details back and doesn't promise a date.

Windows on Local Services Ads
